Steven has over 30 years of global real estate experience in all facets of real estate investment, development and capital management.

During his 20 years at Macquarie Group, Steven was instrumental in the establishment, growth and leadership of all development activities in Australia, Asia and China.

​

Steven held a number of senior leadership positions in Macquarie’s Real Estate Group where he was until 2008, the CEO and Head of Development and Unlisted Funds.

 

Highlights include:

• Establishment and leadership of development businesses in Australia and Asia through the subsidiaries of Urban Pacific and China Housing Group (Tianjin & Shanghai)

• Establishment of industry-leading unlisted development funds which specialised in joint venture partnerships

• Lead Advisor to Australian Commonwealth Government in the divestment of over $2bn in commercial assets

• Project financing and arranging capital for some landmark Australian projects across residential, commercial, retail, resorts and industrial.
